I’ve only been to Forno Rosso once on a “business lunch,” but the dish I had was so good that I have to give them props. I had the, ahem, Avocado Toast. Basic, I know. But sometimes it pays off to be a little basic. The toast was so dizzying delicious I haven’t stopped thinking about it. How could something so simple be so damn good? It probably has something to do with the excellent fresh bread, the melt-in-your-mouth burrata cheese, and the just-ripe heirloom tomatoes. Whatever they did, it made me want to lick the plate. That, and go back and try the rest of the menu.

Tell me that doesn’t look delicious.
